This project is a 180-degree, projection-based, sound-reactive immersive space, designed by us as students of the Media Design program, commissioned by the House of Hungarian Music. My contribution to the project involved using motion capture techniques and Blender to create distorted 3D sculptures animated in response to sound.

Linger a bit Longer
VR Game
2023

“Linger a bit longer” is a VR space based on somatic experiences. The game begins in a space without a horizon or references, where no virtual body is displayed for the player. From a bodily experience perspective, I aimed to evoke the sense of disorientation and uncertainty that comes with the absence of navigation references in the dark, but with a visually contrasting effect. This uncertainty triggers subjective attention and sharpens the awareness of presence.
The space reacts to the player’s presence with sounds, creating a unique soundscape based on individual exploration. Additionally, the player is guided with instructions to observe their own body.

The second VR space explores the theme of encountering virtual environments with one's own memories. The space contains objects that are often dysfunctional or unusable. These objects can be touched and discarded.
Within the space, the player reads two written instructions: the objects in the virtual environment can be used to collect memories, and upon reaching the interior of the labyrinth, the player can rearrange them according to their personal memory.
