Shared bodies

ALIVE_2504

In our project, we explored the relationship between the event and the archive, as well as the performativity of documenting fleeting gestures and stories. Our aim was to create an experience where the documentation of the moving body transforms the performance’s scenography, generating a continuous circular play through the repetitive transformation of gestures and stories. The creation of both the event and the archive occurred simultaneously, utilizing Kinect technology.

The project was realized during a residency at the Montpellier Centre Choréographique National, supported by the Creative Europe Life Long Burning Program and the Műhely Foundation.

AFTER IT’S FINISHED BEFORE IT STARTS
2018
Participatory performance

“After it’s finished, before it starts” is a site-specific participatory performance that explores the body, presence, and the surrounding environment through a somatic walk. The performance takes place in urban parks, where the settings, scenery, and lighting are drawn from these public spaces. Through deep observation of everyday locations and gestures, silence, stillness, and the continuous flow of time transform into performative situations.
